How I Pulled Together a Cute-But-Thrifty Galentine’s Dinner

This Galentine’s setup was honestly one of my faves. Sharing all the details in case you’re planning your own girl’s night, birthday, hen’s party, or even a baby shower and want some inspiration.

THE INVESTMENT PIECES

Bed Threads Pink Clay & Mulberry Amour Napkins:

These are 100% French flax linen, and the little embroidered hearts make them feel extra special. They might be love-themed, but I’d 100% use them for girl’s dinners, birthdays, hen’s nights, or even a baby shower morning tea.

Bed Threads Pink Clay & Mulberry Amour Placemats:

These are 100% French flax linen, and the little embroidered hearts make them feel extra special. They might be love-themed, but I’d 100% use them for girl’s dinners, birthdays, hen’s nights, or even a baby shower morning tea.

Same Time Tomorrow Giant Satin Bow:

This was my “this needs a moment” piece. Draped it across the table, and it instantly made the whole setup feel intentional. Find it here.

THRIFTED & BUDGET FRIENDLY FINDS

DIY A3 Sign:

Designed in Canva and printed at Officeworks for just $1, this added a personal touch to the event without the cost of custom signage.

Silver Cake Stand:

Op-shop find and the Champagne Bucket I snagged off Facebook Marketplace for $15.

Vintage Coupes:

Found these second-hand and then made them even cuter by letting everyone decorate their own with DIY adhesive gems.

Short Steel Coupes:

I spotted these In The Round House Short Steel Coupes (Set of 2) for $35.00, but found something extremely similar at The Chef's Hat Sundae Cups for just $3.95 each. A serious steal for the same look!

Beaded Side Plates

Ordered these from Amazon and they added the perfect delicate, elegant touch to the tablescape without breaking the budget.

BRINGING IT ALL TOGETHER

I mixed a few investment pieces with second-hand finds and some DIY touches, and it came together really well. The Adhesive Gem Coupe Decorating was a crowd favorite, and the Hand-Tied Cherries with little bows turned out so cute. Pro tip: If you’re styling a table on a budget, using a flat sheet as a tablecloth is a great way to add softness and texture without spending extra. Hopefully, this gives you some ideas if you’re planning something similar. If you end up recreating this, tag me on Instagram—I’d love to see how it turns out!
